Hampshire Regency Dancers 10th Anniversary Ball Flowers, Old Alresford House

Congratulations To Hampshire Regency Dancers who celebrated their 10th anniversary with a ball at Old Alresford House. I was delighted to be asked to help with some floral designs in the style of the Regency period. The regency period - the age of elegance, of Jane Austin, of dancing cards and flowers were THE fashion. To recreate the look I used old english garden roses ( here we had to bend the rules and have them imported due to the time of year) mixed essentially with flowers and foliages cut from the gardens as they would have been at that time. The gardens I have to say were not mine but those of a rather famous and rather large garden with a huge selection of possible material. A big thank you to them for helping us with this rather special project.

Entrance table display in the regency style using a stemmed vase, old english garden roses and seasonal foliages. The group had chosen dusky pink as a colour scheme so we followed that through to all the flowers.

Regency style fireplace design at Old Alresford House in shades of pink, blue, purple and green. A large mix of flowers and foliages were used to get the look and this design was full of impact.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Hampshire Regency Dancers for asking me to design and create the flowers for your ball and wishing you a very happy anniversary.
A night of music and dancing from the Jane Austin era, all in full period costume. It must have been an amazing night.
